In Zentser, a sensor stands for each data parameter that you send. Often that maps to a physical sensor connected to a microcontroller. But that’s not always the case.

Many physical sensors allow you to collect more than one reading. For example, DHT 22 sensor can measure Temperature, Humidity, and Heat Index. So in this case one physical sensor would map to three Zentser sensor-defined values.

Once you drill into a sensor screen, you can see different sections below

This is where you can see:

  • Sensor overview with recent Max and Min values
  • Overview of threasholds
  • Detailed graphs. If there's enough data, you'll see tabs for Day, Week, Month, even Year
  • Export Data will allow you to get raw data in CSV format. Run your ML models, create your own graphs, and find the insights from sensor measurements
