In Zentser, a sensor stands for each data parameter that you send. Often that maps to a physical sensor connected to a microcontroller. But that’s not always the case.
Many physical sensors allow you to collect more than one reading. For example, DHT 22 sensor can measure Temperature, Humidity, and Heat Index. So in this case one physical sensor would map to three Zentser sensor-defined values.
